Welcome to our online store!

We provide nutrient-dense, delicious, life-giving meat and eggs to our local community through farmers’ markets and home delivery (every Wednesday). Mint Creek meats are dry-aged and flash frozen after slaughter to lock in the nutrition, texture, and outstanding flavor of these pasture-raised animals. Please keep in mind, we are a small farm and so are our herds. Orders must be placed by 12pm on Tues to be home delivered on Wednesday or for farmers’ market pickup that upcoming weekend. Local delivery in Chicago, Oak Park, and Evanston costs $9/per delivery with no delivery minimum. UPS shipping outside that local, Chicago area delivery radius starts at $25/per delivery.

Annual Monthly CSA Share

An annual CSA membership means pre-paying for 12 months of monthly home deliveries. Each month you will receive an assortment of organic, grass-fed meats delivered to your doorstep frozen in an insulated bag.

Home delivery in Chicago, Oak Park, & Evanston Areas — $9 per month fee included

Our meat CSA is available year-round, and is fully comprised from animals raised on our farm. Meat cuts will vary based on what is seasonal and surplus at the farm. We work really hard so that our CSA includes a range of cuts: from premium cuts (like chops, loins, and steaks) to more humble, braising, or ground cuts (like osso buco or stew meats). Occasional offerings of rustic sausages and organically smoked & cured bacon will also be included, all free of nitrates and featuring certified-organic spices.

Amount of meat per month with pricing breakdown:

Twelve Monthly Half Share — 5lbs per month ($71 each), totaling 60lbs for the year: $852

With monthly $9 fee for home delivery included: $970 total for the year

Twelve Month Whole Share — 10lbs per month ($133 each), totaling 120lbs for the year: $1596

With monthly $9 fee for home delivery included: $1704 total for the year

Marrow is precious, and our 100% organic-grassed beef marrow bones are selected and cut in 1–2 inch cross-sections to make it conveniently available to you. Great roasted and spread on bread, or made into soup & stew.

Mint Creek’s herd of heritage Black and Red Angus cattle graze our 220 acres of organic perennial pasture, where they are raised from birth. Our herd of cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished, and get vitamins and minerals from an organically approved mineral salt mix. No grain, no growth hormones, and no antibiotics are involved whatsoever. Our cows are free to range to their hearts’ content in expansive pastures (each field is multiple acres) and they are offered shelter in our barn during the winter.
