Hollywood; Izakaya Hiwatta in Ichinomia Japan and legendary nightclub Purpur in Zurich, Switzerland. Working all around the world for over four decades, he's won numerous awards, professional competitions and distinctions. He’s the author of Home Cookin'- The Stories Behind The Food and The Garlic Manifesto- the history of garlic going back to 10,000-year-old Neolithic caves and contains facts, fiction, folklore, myths and legends (besides 100 recipes).
A lifelong musician that plays 70+ percussion instruments, he coined the term “Jazzfood” to describe his cooking style i.e. “solid technique coupled with tasteful improvisation.” He views his food as he does his music and writing and has been known to bust a pout if subpar in any way.

We are overwhelmingly grateful for all the people who make our farm events possible! A big thank you to our co-hosts at Greenhouse B&B, to the premier chefs preparing the dinners, to our guests, to individual event partners, and our staff working so hard to set these up! We realize it's an imperative to share the farm's inner workings, and to open up our doors (I mean fences!) so people experience & see for themselves the teeming life of pasture plants and livestock running around here. We are more than just a farm business--we are a community of folks doing their best to live and eat ethically and joyfully. No time is this clearer than at the farm dinner and tour events! As far as our day-to-day lives lead us from it in distance, the nature and life on the farm is still at the heart of our physical sustenance.
We team up with our lovely neighbors Mark & Guia at Greenhouse B&B for farm event accommodations, please contact them directly for inquiries about overnight camping.
Sample itinerary for our farm events:
*2:30 pm: Guests gather at the Greenhouse B&B and mingle or walk around the B&B's extensive gardens. If you are staying overnight at the B&B* or camping, you can arrive as early as you'd like to unpack and/or set up tents.
*3:00 pm: Guests head out to the farm tour, with Harry Carr at the helm. If you're running late, no worries! We can shuttle you to meet up with the tour whenever you arrive.
*5:00-5:30 pm: Guests return to the B&B from the farm tour and get settled.
*5:30 pm: Guests enjoy a four course meal prepared by guest chef. Live music and drinks from beverage sponsors brought to you by bartender extraordinaire will add to the merriment!
*8 pm: Meals are usually finished by 8ish, though some guests like to linger and visit, generally hanging out by the campfire.
*Start and end times can vary based on time of year or type of event
