Curious about our cause?
Last year was a once in 22 years drought in our little cross section of Ford County which Mint Creek is in, and we are still feeling the repercussions of the drought in terms of being way past the normal amount of hay we'd normally need to survive the winter until the pastures start growing again in mid to late April. 
Our current cost of hay is approximately $500-$1000/per day to keep our herds and flocks fed.
