Mint Creek’s herd of Black and Red Angus cattle is small—less than 60 cattle graze our 220 acres of organic perennial pasture, where they are raised from birth. Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished, and are offered organically approved mineral salt mix to help balance out our region’s naturally occurring mineral deficiencies.
No grain, no growth hormones, and no antibiotics are involved whatsoever. Our cows are free to range to their hearts’ content in expansive pastures (each field is multiple acres) and they are offered shelter and certified-organic hay during the winter.
Orders must be placed by 12pm on Tues to be home delivered on Wednesday or for farmers’ market pickup that upcoming weekend. Larger or bulk bundle orders may require extra time to fulfill.
Local delivery in Chicago, Oak Park, and Evanston costs $9/per delivery with no delivery minimum. UPS shipping outside that local, Chicago area delivery radius starts at $25/per delivery.
